Continually Walked

“But Noah found favor in Adonai’s eyes… Noah was a righteous man. He was blameless among his generation. Noah continually walked with God.

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭TLV‬‬

This is it. My last blog in this series following the Daily Bible Reading. I’m a proud of myself for completing what seemed like an impossible goal when I first began.

This verse from todays reading is my prayer for us as we move into 2023 – that we could find favor and grace with G-d and that we would walk in intimate fellowship with Him continually.

The Hebrew word for “favor” is hên meaning graciousness, subjective kindness and favor; precious and well  favored; and the word for walked is hâlak, denoting intimacy, fellowship.

Experiencing His favor and kindness comes from walking closely with Him. The more time we spend with Him, the more we come to know His love. You cannot build a relationship without spending time together. It’s simple math.

As we embark on this new year, may we also embark on the greatest journey of our lives, the pursuit of G-d.

To everyone who has read and commented, thank you. I wrote out of obedience and for my own healing. Sharing with you was an added blessing. Some have asked if I’ll keep writing and I honestly do not know. I am taking a few days to rest from social media and seek G-d for His guidance.

May He bless you and keep You. May He cause His face to shine upon you and be gracious to You. And, may He grant you the peace that passes all understanding in all areas of your life.

Until next time ~ Marci
