Today I start the journey to the next part of my interpreting career: Legal Certification in Texas. It’s going to stretch me and challenge me. It’s going to be a marathon and take time to obtain. I am sure I will struggle. And – mostly – I’m terrified – as well I should be- because the stakes are high. For years, mentors have pushed me and encouraged me. We should always be setting new goals, growing, stretching beyond what’s comfortable, and looking for ways to improve ourselves and others. I recently joined a monthly coaching program I’m stoked about. It’s helping me put feet to this dream – and many more dreams in my heart. I’m excited to take a step forward.
